System development of the sport abroad are very different in the United States. The race is often at clubs, schools, and tend not to consider hiring the same way. I raced in England for a semester abroad. I went from a semi-major program at the NCAA a British club was essentially a group of students, has trained at random and not particularly care about anything but funny (it's advantages and disadvantages, of course) .
