Is it weird for men to go to a tanning bed? - men tanning

During the winter months, I am not, never been abroad. Between school and work I am more mellow. I wonder, is it strange for a man to go to a tanning bed? I do not think that I, as a member, as is once per week.
Is it cheaper to buy a month and still worth a visit for one day? Can you even buy a single room?
